Attempted Freight Pickup/ Delivery
|
A pickup or delivery that cannot be accomplished due to events
beyond the control of the driver, such as: shipper/consignee/shipment
not available at time of attempt, inaccessibility of pickup or delivery
address, etc. Additional fees may be charged under these circumstances.
To prevent such occurrences, contact is attempted prior to any freight pickup
or delivery.

Bill To |
The person or company paying freight and related shipping costs. Bill
To parties must be pre-authorized by Integres. Contact the Integres
Customer Care Center to add additional Bill To parties to your address
book.

Booking Shipping Service
|
Advance arrangements made for a specific shipment and shipping service, similar to a
reservation.

Cartage Pickup/ Delivery before 8:00 AM or after
5:00 PM
|
Cartage services required during these hours are subject to an
additional surcharge.
|
Chargeable Weight |
Shipping costs are based on either the scale weight or the dimensional
weight, whichever is greater.
|
COD |
Service consisting of:
- Carriage of goods to the consignee
- Collection of cashier's, certified, traveler's or company check
or money order made payable to the shipper
- Delivery of a check or money order to the shipper of the goods
The shipper of the goods via COD service is responsible for
specifying on the delivery receipt the amount of the check or
money order to be collected. The full amount of the COD and all
other charges are payable in money order or cashiers, certified,
traveler's, or company check.

Collect |
Consignee is responsible for paying the shipping and other charges.
If the consignee has a credit account with Integres it can be settled
on account. If the consignee does not have credit, then a cashier,
certified, traveler's or company check or a money order is collected
when the freight shipment is delivered. (FCCOD is Freight Charges Collect
On Delivery.)

Consignee |
The person or company to whom the goods are to be delivered.

Declared Value |
The value of the goods declared by the shipper for the purposes
of determining charges of or establishing the limit of the carrier’s
liability for loss, damage, or delay. Valuation charges are assessed
to shippers who declare a value of goods higher than the value of
the carrier’s limits of liability.

Delivery By |
The date and time when a shipment must be delivered to the consignee
at the final destination.
|
Destination |
The ultimate city and/or airport where a shipment is going. |
Dimensional Weight |
The space or volume of a shipment. This weight is determined by
multiplying the length by the width by the height and dividing the
sum by 194 for domestic shipments and by 166 for international shipments.

Domestic |
Refers to shipping within the 50 United States and, when applicable, includes shipping to Puerto Rico (US Territory) and the US Virgin Islands of St. Thomas and St. Croix. |

Exhibition Pickup/ Delivery
|
Freight pickup or delivery from conventions, trade shows, exhibit halls,
and hotels with events requiring materials for exhibit or display
materials. This includes all shipments with booth indications,
contact information for display material locations in a specific
hall or building with convention services, or a location indicating
meeting or convention services. This is considered special handling
and may entail additional fees.

Hazardous Materials |
Hazardous materials (also referred to as dangerous goods or restricted articles), are described as articles or substances that are capable of posing a significant risk to health, safety or property when transported by air. |
The following are examples of dangerous goods that must be declared at time of booking: |
Oil-based paint and thinners (flammable liquids) |
Industrial solvents |
Insecticides, garden chemicals (fertilizers, poisons) |
Lithium Batteries (not in cameras) |
Magnetized materials |
Machinery (chain saws, outboard engines containing fuel) |
Fuel for camp stoves, lanterns, torches or heating elements |

Holiday Pick up/ Delivery |
Based on National Holidays and recognized local holidays, all shipping services
required on these scheduled days are charged an additional fee.

Inside Pickup/ Delivery
|
Pickup or delivery at locations other than a loading dock/platform
or outside entrance of a building. Additional shipping costs are assessed
when the customer requests this specific service, the pickup or
delivery point is other than the main floor, or a specific room
number is requested and the freight or a piece within the shipment
weighs more than 70 pounds.

Insurance |
Coverage for a specified amount is set as a value of the goods
shipped and covered as an insurable amount. All insurance amounts
must be indicated at the time of booking to properly cover and apply
an insurance coverage to the shipment.
|
International |
All locations outside of the domestic definition. |
Items to be Shipped |
Full shipment details including pieces, weight, dimensions, and
descriptive questions about the characteristics and nature of the
freight.
|
Liftgate Truck Pickup/ Delivery |
A special service for shipments containing overweight or oversized
freight requiring cartage services to/from a cartage location with
limited load/unload capabilities, no proper truck high dock facility,
or when a requested liftgate cartage requirement is specified by
the customer. The service may require a two man service and charges
for both are applicable. Each service is dependent on location
and charges can be for both origin (pickup) and destination (delivery).

Loose Shipment |
A shipment that is tendered as individual boxes. Also referred
to as a Bulk Shipment.
|
Notifications |
At the time of booking, the shipper can specify parties to be notified
of milestone events from the time of freight pick up until delivery. Methods
of communication are e-mail and fax.
|
Origin |
The city and/or airport where the shipment begins its journey.

|
Packaging |
The material or method of packing a shipment that provides suitable protection
during transit. |
Payment |

Pickup Close Time
|
The latest possible time when a shipment is available to be picked up. |
|
Pickup Ready Time
|
The earliest possible time when a shipment is available to be picked
up.

Prepaid |
Shipper is responsible for paying the shipping and other charges.

Residential Delivery |
A special service for shipments that contain pieces weighing over
100 pound per piece being delivered to a location with no dock or
receiving area for truck traffic. Also when pickup or delivery
location requires a specific floor location other than the main
or ground floor, a suite or specific office location within a building
not located on the main or ground floor.

Shipper |
The person or company sending the shipment.

Third Party |
When the person or company paying shipping and related charges
is neither the shipper nor the consignee.
|
Tracking |
The act of receiving periodic updates on the progress of a shipment
by checking information on the Integres.com Web site or receiving
proactive notification via e-mail or fax.

|
Two Man Pickup/ Delivery
|
A special service for shipments that contain pieces weighing over
100 pounds per piece that are picked up or delivered to a location
with no dock or receiving area for truck traffic. Also when the
pickup or delivery location requires a specific floor location other
then the main or first floor with any piece weighing in excess of
100 pounds per piece.

Weekend Pickup/ Delivery
|
A special service for pickup or delivery on the calendar days of
Saturday and/or Sunday. An additional charge is assessed for this
shipping service.
