November 18, 2002 VASTERA CO-FOUNDER NAMED TO INTEGRES BOARD OF DIRECTORS Rancho Cordova, Calif. (November 18, 2002)Integres today announced that it has appointed Arjun Rishi, co-founder of Vastera (Nasdaq: VAST) to its board of directors. "We are pleased to have Arjun join the board of directors," said Jim Hartigan, CEO and president of Integres. "Arjun will be a great asset to the Integres board. He is proven to be a thoughtful leader who brings with him a unique perspective necessary in managing the important issues impacting the global business community. Mr. Rishi co-founded Vastera in 1992 to merge the power of software engineering with the opportunities caused by the rapid globalization of the new economy. In 1999, he transitioned the company from a pure software company to a managed services company with the acquisition of Quantum. He was instrumental in taking the company public in September of 2000. Mr. Rishi serves as the chairman of the board at Vastera and has served as president, CEO and a member of its board of directors since its inception. Prior to founding Vastera, Mr. Rishi was a consultant working on projects for various companies, such as Electronic Data Systems, Advanced Technologies and the U.S. Air Force. Arjun Rishi received a B.S. in information systems, with a minor in computer science from Longwood College.
